Fast growing sedge used in wetland plantings and revegetation. Suitable in conditions that vary between very wet and very dry. Tolerates dry conditions better than Carex secta.

Position in full sun to semi-shade. Tolerant of wind, frost, heavy and sandy soils

Features bright green arching leaves with long erect seed spikes ripening late summer. in nature it grows in up to a foot of water where seeds float away and establish new plants along water-edges

Surface sow seed, cover with glass, keep warm and moist. Seed germinates in good numbers in 4 weeks or less

Seedlings can be pricked out any length. Plant a good amount in each bag to get a full grass quickly.
