Festuca actae 'banks Peninsula'

Blue festuca

A clumping native tussock with icey-blue foliage. Great for bordering driveways and footpaths. Creating eye-catching features in rock gardens, around ponds, across retaining walls and sloping banks, or around a specimen tree for striking contrast.

A low maintenance native that may be lightly trimmed in early spring. If left to grow naturally will retain its compact form with soft flowing foliage making a good ground cover. Though tolerant of wind, frost and coastal conditions grows best in silt soils with some light shade. Fast growing and hardy. Fully grown at 2 years old (30-40cm)

Germinates in abundance in 2-4 weeks. Surface sow seeds. Keep moist in a light warm position.
