The largest of the tree daisies growing 5-7m in height, frequent from coastal to montane forest edges and clearings

The large simple leaf with jagged margins is mottled green on top & soft velvety white below. The contrast is striking as the leaves flutter in the breeze.

Growing tips and foliage contains compounds that can cause staggers in stock

Branches are white with fuzz as well. Small white flowers bloom in large clusters up to a foot wide and are sweetly fragrant on summer evenings.

PROPAGATION Surface sow over a bed of damp seed raising mix and place in a light warm position. Fine seeds need shelter from heavy rain and wind until well after germination (2-6 weeks in suitable conditions)
